How far are you from the airport?
From the San Jose del Cabo airport we are about a 1hr 45min drive by car and 1 hr 20 min drive from the La Paz airport.

Will I need a car? Can I rent a car at the airport?
We recommend that you rent a car at least to get here. Although there are frequent buses running from San Jose del Cabo to El Pescadero and Todos Santos, we are down a dirt road and about 6 minutes away by car from stores and restaurants. It is also preferable to have a car so that you can enjoy the many attractions in the area.

Can I rent a car at the airport?
Yes there are several car rental agencies at the airports. You can reserve online through your airline website or any of the online travel sites such as Travelocity, Expedia, and Orbitz etc. Just enter the airport code as your destination, SJD for the San Jose del Cabo airport and LAP for La Paz. How far is it to Todos Santos, Cabo and La Paz?
It is a 6 min drive from here to the main road going through El Pescadero and then another 7 min drive to Todos Santos. Cabo is an hour from here and Its a 1 hr 15min drive to La Paz.

Can you surf there?
Yes, the property overlooks the San Pedrito Surf break which is intermediate to advanced and just an 8 min drive to Los Cerritos beach where there is a beginner to intermediate surf break.

Where can I rent a surf board?
We have 2 long soft boards available for guest use at no cost. You can also rent boards and take surf lessons at Cerritos beach.

Is the beach in front swimmable?
It is often swimmable but can sometimes get rough as it is the Pacific so you just need be aware and use caution.

Are there any restaurants or stores nearby?
We now have a new restaurant, bar and swimming pool at Rancho Pescadero, just a short walk down the beach.There is also small grocery store just a short walk from here where you will find milk, sodas beer, eggs etc. A 6 min drive will bring you to the main road going through El Pescadero where you will find several restaurants, taco stands, small grocery stores, tourist shops and internet cafes. It's just another 7 min drive to the town of Todos Santos where you will find a wide variety of restaurants, shops, grocery stores, internet cafes, art galleries and more.
